ABOUT

Hub New Music collaborates with composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Bora Yoon on a 20-minute work made in collaboration with the Peabody Essex Museum’s Korean art gallery. Scored for Hub, Yoon, and Korean traditional percussion, the work will respond to both contemporary and traditional Korean art pieces from the gallery. The piece builds on Yoon's growing collection of work that conjures audiovisual soundscapes using digital devices, voice and found objects, and instruments from a variety of historical periods.
