About the Project

Casual Miracles II (working title) is the second installment in the Casual Miracles song cycle project by Korean-American composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Bora Yoon. The cycle features narrated vignettes, tracing the intersection and entanglements between life, death and birth. Co-commissioned by and written for Hub New Music, Casual Miracles II is an empathy-driven chamber work, exploring female experiences of mortal and corporeal drudgery, in conjunction with divine and celestial purpose.

Bora Yoon and Hub New Music perform this work together in a double bill.
