Hub returns to the Black Mountain College Museum & Art Center in Asheville, NC for the world premiere of a new work by Yaz Lancaster. Lancaster’s new piece was co-commissioned with the Black Mountain College Museum & Art Center, and celebrates the rich artistic legacy of Black Mountain College.

The program features eight new works commissioned for Hub’s 10th birthday by composers whose work gives a snapshot of music being written today: Angélica Negrón, Jessica Meyer, Tyshawn Sorey, Nico Muhly, Donnacha Dennehy, Marcos Balter, Sage Shurman and Andrew Norman.
